Winchester Hat Fair 2008
1/4/2008
Winchester Hat Fair has been running since 1974 where it started as a buskers festival and got its name from the buskers handing around their hats for a donation after their show. Now the programme includes innovative community projects, market stalls, a big picnic, a huge childrens' procession, International large-scale work and commissions and music. It all takes place in the heart of Winchester from 3rd - 6th July. It is a chance to watch the city come alive with street performances, amazing market stalls and music well into the night.
